The brief

To create a group travel sales incentive based on sales of Caple furniture and appliances. All customers of Caple who reached their six-month sales targets qualified, together with their partners.

The challenge

To produce a unique and stunning group travel trip that would appeal to, and excite, the target audience, who are offered these forms of incentives by Maurice Lay's competitors. The destination had to be exotic, all-inclusive and provide excellent value for money, and the trip had to have mass appeal.

The solution

Active created the 'Havana Club', providing a week's stay in Cuba in the Caribbean. The trip started in Havana, staying in luxurious five star accommodation in the very heart of Old Colonial Havana, before moving on to the premier resort of Varadero with its wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.

The execution

To support the campaign a range of gifts, postcards and travel packs were produced, all based around the central theme of the 'Havana Club'.

The success

The feedback from the guests attending showed it was the most memorable and enjoyable incentive trip they had attended. They also felt the whole campaign had managed to stand out from the crowd in what is a busy incentives market place.
