Examples of promotions offering experience prizes at heavily discounted prices.
Fiat
This direct mail campaign encouraged recipients to take a test drive in a Fiat Panda by giving them a 4 x 4 Experience Voucher. Active provided 1,000 packs for a single fee.
Nokia
46,000 Nokia handsets included a 'gift with purchase', allowing the purchaser to claim an experience to 'shape up', 'indulge' or 'accessorise' (valued at approx. £50 per gift). To control and reduce the costs, the promotion was delivered for a single fee.
HP
A consumer promotion where consumers purchasing a select range of HP digital products, at 'demonstrator days' over the Christmas period, were given an HP experience gift.
There were three gift packs available at £45, £95 and £160, which were awarded according to level of spend. Over 5,000 packs were awarded over the promotional period.
Some of these projects were run in partnership with an agency.
