Top 10 VIP event weekends

London Fashion Week Festival
Fashion lovers will go mad for this stylish weekend, which starts with limo transfers to the exclusive ME hotel. Guests are greeted with a champagne reception on arrival followed by lunch at the ultra-cool Radio Rooftop bar, offering outstanding views over London. Then it’s on to the show, with Luxe tickets giving unparalleled access to experience the best of British and international fashion – including a showcase of designer and trend catwalk shows, designer shopping and industry talks. Finish off the experience with dinner at the hotel’s STK restaurant and send your guests home the next day with a catalogue of memories.
Private Jet Experience
Everyone has dreamed about having their own private jet. So how about turning that dream into a reality by treating your VIPs to a private jet charter headed for sunny Le Touquet in Northern France. Following a champagne reception at the Grand Hôtel, guests head out for a tour of Côte d’Opale – a craggy, green, undulating and often dramatic coastline – with a stop for a luxury 3-course private BBQ on the beach. The rest of the afternoon is free to soak up the sun and enjoy a little time to freshen up before dinner. There’s an abundance of restaurants available in Le Touquet which are sure to impress. You may even find yourself dining with President Macron who has a weekend home there. The next day guests have time to relax, shop or explore before their return flight.
Country Pursuits Weekend
Dig out something tweed from your wardrobe and put on those wellies for a seriously upper-class weekend of leisure. One of our favourite options is Peckforton Castle – an elegant country manor hotel which is both extravagant and welcoming. A tried and tested itinerary is for guests to arrive on Friday night for a stunning Friday evening dinner. The next day, guests can try their hand at archery, clay shooting, falconry, and abseiling. Or if that isn’t enough, explore the grounds in a dramatic 4×4 Land Rover for the ultimate experience. Evening dinner could either be served in The Grand Hall, or you may wish to explore some of the more contemporary restaurants the surrounding area has to offer, before spending another dreamy night in this majestic building. Make sure you stick around for a relaxed breakfast and spa before departure on Sunday morning.
Boutique Festival Experience
Party in style at one of the UK’s biggest music festivals with luxury accommodation and access to VIP areas. The options available vary from festival to festival, but you can expect to be staying in a boutique village of gorgeous bell tents, teepees, yurts and cabins, where you can glam up and wind down. With no stress, no gear to lug and not a portaloo in sight, it’s the most decadent way to experience a festival. Some even offer concierge services or spa facilities! For the ultimate VIP experience, we recommend your guests are provided with VIP area passes, and food and drink hampers in addition to their weekend tickets.
No Man’s Fort
Private fortress, exclusive hire, unbeatable sea views, enough said. A great setting for an unusual event, No Man’s Fort is one of the UK’s most secluded and alternative hotel venues, dating back over 150 years. Distinctive and unmissable by virtue of its size and shape, you have to venture out by boat for an overnight stay on this sea-based defence fortress. We recommend you start with a guided tour of the fort for an educational insight into its rich maritime history, followed by a buffet lunch. A range of activities, from boules, fishing or kite flying to power-boating, can then be arranged. Round it off with hot chocolate and marshmallows by the fire pit as you watch the sun set on an incredible day.
VIP London
Whether you have lived there all your life, or have just got off the ‘plane, it isn’t hard to find something exciting and unique to do in London. However, one of our current favourites is this ultimate urban city adventure. Starting with a creative spy-themed GPS treasure hunt challenge, guests are then whisked off on RIBs down the river Thames to see London’s stunning architecture from water level. Next up, how about scaling 52m over the top of the O2? One of London’s best activities, this event combines a physical challenge with amazing views of the city. Finish up by either having drinks and premium tickets to a live show at the O2, or perhaps dinner at the top of the Shard. While the event can be arranged as a day activity we would recommend an overnight stay. We particularly like Sea Containers on the South Bank, which has a stylish contemporary feel and a very cool rooftop bar.
Goodwood Flying and Driving Experiences
Goodwood is a fabulous sporting estate with a famous Battle of Britain airfield, a historic racecourse and motor circuit, two golf courses and one of the oldest cricket grounds in the country. It’s a great base for an event, especially if you stay overnight at the hotel. Renowned for its driving experiences we suggest you step it up a gear with their Stunt Driving Experience. Your VIP guests will feel like they are in a Hollywood blockbuster stunt film as they master the art of drifting, handbrake turns and seamless J-turns. Then for something a little bit different take your event to new heights with a unique flying activity – “Grapefruit Bombing”. One person takes the aircraft controls and the other tries to hit the target (by dropping Grapefruits!) as you soar over the Sussex countryside. Finish the event with a gala dinner and overnight stay to leave everyone feeling like a million dollars.
Mercedes-Benz Day at Brooklands
Create a real premium driving experience as your guests get behind the wheel of a Mercedes sports car at the historic Brooklands racing circuit. We suggest guests arrive late morning for lunch at The Gullwing rooftop restaurant, which is the perfect location for a decadent lunch with views overlooking the track. After lunch, we recommend the 3-hour driving package that gives you and your guests a taste of everything. The package includes 1-hour AMG track driving, 1-hour off-road 4×4 driving and exclusive hire of the F1 simulator area. Complete your event with executive car transfers and dinner at a deluxe hotel with an overnight stay. Our favourites are the Harbour Hotel, Beaverbrook Country House Hotel and Coworth Park, all within 30 minutes of the track.
A Day at the Races
It’s hard to beat Royal Ascot when it comes to VIP hospitality. We would suggest your group arrives Friday night at the elegant Hotel du Vin in Henley for a decadent dinner. The next day, put on your best dress and head to Ascot’s Pavilion for a much-needed glass of bubbly on the private balcony. Overlooking the Plaza Lawns and the famous Bandstand, the Pavilion is the place to soak up the atmosphere at Royal Ascot as you watch racegoers pass by in their finery. Make it a race day to remember with a fabulous lunch at the Pavilion before heading back to the hotel for dinner when the races have ended.
VIP Christmas Shopping
If you are looking for a great way to spoil your VIP guests, how about putting some sparkle into their festive shopping with a glamorous VIP Christmas experience. Our two-night package starts with guests arriving after lunch on Friday. Following check-in and time to relax and freshen up, the first night is a little bit different with a cabaret dinner at the world-famous Café de Paris. (Be warned, it’s a little bit raunchy so if that’s not appropriate for your group we can suggest alternatives.) The next day, guests will have an executive limo at their disposal to take them shopping wherever they wish. It’s perfect for guests who want to indulge in the atmosphere of London at Christmas – maybe visiting Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland or the Southbank Christmas market. Guests can then enjoy some time to relax before evening dinner at the elegant Hutong restaurant. Hutong offers panoramic views of London’s skyline at night from its location on level 33 of The Shard.
